REAL domascus steel! (not laser engraved.) I have used a very fine sandpaper to scratch a small part of the pattern. I did it for quite a bit. And the pattern is still visible. Which means that it is real and not just surface-level.

it is a bit on the heavy side. but i love it. i can't confirm if its vg10, but it is damascus layers (not laser print). it's well packaged, and very sharp. this is my 2nd xinzuo knife - not my last !
